Care Philosophy
Virginia believes healing begins when the nervous system can shift from a constant state of stress into rest and repair. In a world that often keeps us rushing, overwhelmed, and disconnected from ourselves, she creates a space where people can slow down, breathe deeply, and reconnect with their bodies. In treatment, Virginia strives to cultivate a safe, welcoming, and non-judgmental environment where individuals feel seen, heard, and supported. She meets each person where they are and helps them reconnect with their own healing process.
Virginia focuses on supporting nervous system regulation, emotional wellbeing, stress, orthopedic pain, and holistic aesthetics through acupuncture and complementary therapies including fire cupping, gua sha, ear seeds, acupressure, and lifestyle guidance rooted in Chinese medicine and seasonal living. Every treatment is thoughtfully tailored to help each person reconnect with their natural rhythms that support lasting wellness, leaving them feeling calmer, more grounded, and gently restored from the inside out. Her goal is to help people feel more balanced and more at ease, so they can spend more time doing what they love.

"I first sought care with Virginia during my time at Cal, when I was looking for support with a variety of concerns—everything from allergies and elbow pain to stress management. As a student-athlete juggling academics and training, I appreciated having a holistic option that could help me address multiple issues at once, and Virginia provided exactly that.
From the very beginning, Virginia made me feel seen, heard, and genuinely cared for. She has a gentle, compassionate presence that immediately puts you at ease, and her treatments always felt deeply intentional and effective. After working with her consistently, I noticed a real improvement in my energy levels, sleep quality, and emotional regulation.
What I appreciated most about working with Virginia was how collaborative and thoughtful she was in her care. She always explained what she was doing and why, and I never felt rushed or like "just another patient." Her presence is healing in itself, and her passion for acupuncture and patient well-being truly shines through."
- Jessie Rose, Cal Women’s Water Polo at UC Berkeley

"I first came to Virginia during a particularly tough and transitional time in my life. I was seeking support with a chronic illness of emotional origin and had run out of luck with other doctors and even other acupuncturists. After some of my first treatments with Virginia, I’d felt like my body had done a complete 180 in the right direction and began to feel more like myself almost right away. All in all, she is a laser-focused, intuitive, and incredibly caring acupuncturist who I felt like really took the time to understand what made my case unique and how to best treat it from all different angles.”

“As a spin instructor battling chronic knee pain, finding Virginia was truly a game-changer. After just a couple of treatments, my pain completely disappeared, allowing me to return to my workouts at full strength.
Virginia’s exceptional skill and precision are remarkable - she knows exactly where to place the needles and how to adjust each treatment perfectly. Her calming presence makes each session not just physically therapeutic but deeply relaxing.
I especially recommend Virginia to other athletes and active individuals. Her understanding of body mechanics combined with her kind personality creates a healing experience that goes beyond physical relief. If you’re considering acupuncture, I can’t recommend Virginia highly enough - she’s transformed my approach to managing my health.”
-Trevor, Spin Instructor at Equinox Beale Street

“I have gotten body work from Lexi that has given me results for chronic pain that I had for 20 years. I had tried many things- PT, massage, chiropractic, etc. Those things gave some relief but my services from Lexi combined with my stretching and lifestyle choices are the only thing that has ever really helped my pain and headaches long term. I highly recommend her.”
